We had another day in Kintyre, where we went to Saddel Bay... which is where the Mull of Kintyre video was filmed in 1977... with the pipe band on the beach.

Then we drove up the east side of the peninsula to Tarbert to have a walk around...

Went back south and later on had a picnic dinner on the beach at Westport to watch the sunset.

Staying in Campbeltown for three nights. Today, we got Linda's tooth problem sorted ... then shopped in the wee toon a bit, for a thank you card and a gift of chocolates for the dental students who did it for free.

For my Song Hall of Fame...  "No Other Baby", as performed by Paul McCartney.

This is an old song by the Vipers from the '50's, apparently.  This version is off Paul McCartney's "Run Devil Run" album, which was the album he put out about a year after Linda McCartney's death.  I interpret this sad song as an ode to his late wife Linda...  as he ( Read more... )
